I noticed a few posts about oatmeal or cereal recently and I’ve posted a couple of comments about the joys of homemade muesli. So, I figured I’d share some pictures! In this particular concoction, it includes oatmeal, unsalted peanuts, walnuts, almonds, half an apple, banana, kiwi, blueberries, blackberries, a scoop of unflavored protein powder, and a few shakes of cinnamon and ginger. All of it submerged in coconut milk, eaten cold, raw, and uncooked. Super simple, fast, nutritious, and DELICIOUS!
Give it a try and add whatever tickles your fancy. I always throw in whatever I have on hand. Some other great things to add are chia, freshly ground flax, coconut flakes, pepitas, sunflower seeds, pecans, unsalted cashews, cocoa powder, strawberries, figs, raspberries, pomegranate, melon, apricot, persimmon… go nuts! And of course, feel free to use whichever milk you prefer; although, I’d avoid oat milk as that’d be just too much oats for me. 😂
